CHampionship club show 16 may 2026

The Association des Amis de Chien de Montagne des Pyrénées (AACMP) is organising another Championship Club Show (KCM) on Saturday 16 May 2026. This is the Saturday after Ascension Day.
The KCM will once again take place on the grounds of dog training school De Behendige Huishond in Maastricht-Itteren.

Following last year’s great success, we hope to make another successful day and evening out of it, with many national and international exhibitors.

The above times are approximate. Depending on the progress of the judgements, deviations may occur.

Contrary to the usual order of judgement during regular dog shows in the Netherlands, we will first judge all veterans and puppies, after which the normal order per gender will be followed, starting with the junior class males.

During the day program there will be a food truck on site and drinks can be purchased in the canteen.

Child and dog show

We also organize a Child and dog show.
A Child and dog show is for children who want to present a dog for fun. In an accessible way, possibly dressed up, children can get acquainted with the events in the ring. For safety reasons, we advise parents to remain on standby and possibly walk along with their child.
You can register for this activity during the morning of our KCM. Registration is free of charge. The dog does not have to be registered in the catalog. It does not have to be a Pyrenean mountain dog either.
The judge for the Child and dog show is Renate Chiodi – Walraven.
All children will receive a nice prize.

Evening program

After the judgements we will start the evening program in which fun activities are planned, including a barbecue.

The costs for the barbecue are €17.50 per adult and €10.00 per child up to 12 years.
The barbecue consists of meat, baguettes and salads.
We can provide a vegetarian option if this is communicated to us by 11 May at the latest.

Reservations for the barbecue can be made directly with the AACMP by emailing events@aacmp.eu by 11 May 2026 at the latest.
You can also register and pay for the barbecue via OnlineDogShows under ‘Options’.

Tapeworm treatment

Note to exhibitors who need tapeworm treatment for their dog(s).
It is not possible for veterinarians in the region to be present during our KCM. During weekends and public holidays they are only available for emergencies.
Exhibitors whose dog(s) require tapeworm treatment can contact us at events@aacmp.eu. We will provide them with a list of vets with whom they can make an appointment themselves. If desired, we can also assist with this. All vets in the Netherlands speak English.

As Ascension Day falls on the Thursday before our show, we strongly recommend that you make an appointment as soon as possible!

Accommodation and veterinarians

As a service to our exhibitors, we’ve compiled a list of links to various types of accommodations. We’ve also included information about local veterinarians for dogs that need deworming before they go home.

This list is the result of Googling by the AACMP. The list is only intended as a service to the exhibitors of our KCM.
The list is not complete.
The list is in English because in practice it has been found that this is the most common language spoken by our exhibitors who stay overnight in the area.
We have no agreements with accommodation providers.
We have no information about the quality of the accommodation.
The list is merely a summary of what we were able to find. We do not offer any advice.
The information comes from various websites and is subject to errors and changes.
No rights can be derived from it.
