Championship Club Show 2026
The Association des Amis du Chien de Montagne des Pyrénées (AACMP) organised its second Championship Club Show (KCM) on Saturday, 16 May 2026. For this edition, we were delighted to welcome breed specialist Lucia Giraldi from Italy as our judge. Once again, we recorded an excellent entry, with 39 dogs from five different countries.
With a similar number of entries to last year, we are convinced that we are on the right track to achieving our goal: developing an international event for the Pyrenean Mountain Dog in North-West Europe.
In addition to a raffle and a barbecue, we also organised a light-hearted competition this year: “The Most Agile Pyrenean”. It proved to be a great source of amusement for both spectators and participants, as our Pyrenean Mountain Dogs, quite as expected, considered the whole exercise entirely unnecessary.

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all exhibitors, ring stewards, our judge, spectators, and the staff of De Behendige Huishond in Maastricht-Itteren for their commitment, enthusiasm and contribution to the success of this special day. Together, they created the friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that is so characteristic of a Championship Club Show among breed enthusiasts.
